Feel the Rush in StudioRUSH! (November Online Article)

It’s here! A leading dance and fitness studio has finally arrived in the Queen City! Owners Ana Ogbueze [pronounced oh-boy-zee] and Ebony Steed opened dance and fitness establishment “StudioRUSH” on Saturday, November 13. The grand opening was held from noon until 8 p.m., boasting free Zumba classes and $5 hip-hop and jazz dance classes.

StudioRUSH is located in the historical third ward of uptown Charlotte, near the Bank of America Stadium. The studio will offer group fitness classes, dance classes, private lessons, and advanced workshops/boot camps, and will be available as a rental space for local needs such as castings and auditions. Fitness classes they will offer include Pilates, abdominal strengthening and yoga, and examples of dance classes offered are ballet, jazz and hip-hop.

The résumés of these instructors are impressive! From dancing with professional ballet companies and on concert tours, to performing with the the NBA and renowned choreographers that have worked with everyone from Beyoncé to Britney Spears, these StudioRUSH instructors have a wealth of experience! Their schedules vary, but they welcome all levels of experience in their classes.

As for the StudioRUSH owners, they are bound to make the studio a success. With Ebony’s educational background in Exercise Science and Ana’s history as a professional dancer and childhood athlete, they offer a strong combination of drive and talent to make this studio surpass the others. Charlotte is already in need of more venues that offer classes for adults, and StudioRUSH is dedicated to bringing the excitement and exercise of dancing and fitness to the adult community year round and at the affordable cost of $10 per class.
